Modal is an industry term for modacrylic fibres. Modacrylic is a manufactured, medium-weight fibre with superior strength and abrasion resistance. It offers a fantastically soft feel, and maximizes breathability with an absorbency power even stronger than cotton. Made to last wash after wash, modal fabrics remain supple and resistant to fading.
